Group Health Underwriter New York, NY Our client, a large regional brokerage with offices up and down the East coast is looking for someone to perform the following functions in their Hartford, CT Office. Market analysis: evaluation of insurance carrier data and applicable industry information. Candidate will perform this quarterly task to assist the Director of Finance and Underwriting in developing this into a well thought out process; track pricing, product positioning and trends; accumulate information from staff members and other sources for use in periodic company newsletter. Benefits Account Manager Long Island, NY Person will be responsible for providing a broad range of service support to group insurance clients ranging from sole proprietorships up to 50 employees. Individual and Small Group Health Underwriter Philadelphia area, PA The Medical Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing applications, gathering data and assessing risk against established underwriting guidelines and claims history. The qualified candidate will utilize rating tools, reference materials and resource systems to assess medical risk. The risk classification process will involve the evaluation of health questionnaires, the interpetation of medical history and telephone interviews with applicants. Stop Loss Underwriter Minneapolis, MN This position will be involved in the selection, evaluation, rating and sale of stop loss new business insurance for this company's Mid-Atlantic sales region. Candidate will have a broad knowledge of assigned lines of business with demonstrated proficiency.
